Dr Khamar currently serves as a consultant in cataract, dry eye, and refractive services at Narayana Nethralaya Eye Institute. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, she is involved in translational research at her institute and affiliated organisations, including GROW and IBMS Lab. As one of the few surgeons globally with expertise in all refractive laser platforms, particularly lenticular extraction techniques, she as one of the first Indians to receive the Troutmann Award, the highest honor in refractive surgery.
