“Oh what a meeting!”
After exploring the virtual world for two years we were VERY ready to have our first face-face meeting in three years. And what a meeting it was!
The meeting kicked off with a fitting tribute to Graham Barrett and Rick Wolfe for their 25plus years as the ‘leaders’ of AUSCRS. A fitting title for the meeting - Circle of Life - saw the ‘baton’ (or lions) passed on to Jacqui Beltz and Gerard Sutton.
The Gold Medal Lecture, presented by Kerry Solomon, started our academic program. The sessions over the three days showcased the uniqueness of our meetings, highlighting what we continue to do which is not just to educate (and what amazing educational content was presented and discussed) and not to take ourselves too seriously - and have some fun….
