Dr. Pooja Khamar is currently employed as a consultant in cataract and Refractive services at Narayana Nethralaya Eye Institute. In addition to her clinical role, she is actively involved in translational research at her Institute (GROW and IBMS Lab) and beyond. She has done her PhD at Maastrict University, Netherlands on “Wound healing in Refractive Surgery”

Dr. Khamar did her Post Graduation from NHL medical Muncipal college, Ahmedabad and has persuaded her fellowship in. CORE (Cataract Optics Refractive Excellence) at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore.

Her areas of interest include Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Dry eye, Keratoconus and she has a lot of experience in these areas. She has a number of national and international research publications and has also been invited faculty at numerous and National and International level conferences.
